For anyone who emailed me and hasn't had a reply yet I apologise, my landline as been faulty for several weeks now and so my internet connection is at best sporadic. BT have now put up several new poles so hopefully the problem will soon be sorted.
Saturday 2nd June 2007 Although a small update this time there is a lot to read in the new Crime and Disorder Murder pages. New news articles- court reports etc are now highlighted in red.
Saturday 24th February 2007 Sad news on this months update. On Wednesday 14th February 2007 we at the NAT lost a good friend when our Treasurer for many years Alan Askew, passed away. Alan's death was a great shock to everyone who knew him and our thoughts and sympathies are with Alan's family at this sad time.
Alan was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed by all his friends at the NAT.
Saturday 27th January 2007 Welcome to the first update of 2007, again I have been busy making some cosmetic changes to some of the pages. Namely the Irwell Spring Band pages have seen a change and shift around. With the discovery of a Wages for Bandsmen book I am now in a position to do lookups for people who think perhaps they may have had a relation who played in the band. I have also made some changes to the Church pages, giving each church it's own page were possible with additional information on the church history and included some photographs of the churches various, Priests, Pastors and Vicars. This will be a ongoing project and when I come across the information for each of the churches pages will be updated accordingly.
